Pros and cons of Hollywood Reporter for iPad app for iPhone and iPad

Hollywood Reporter for iPad app good for

This is a great app. It works very well on my iPad. Now I can enjoy the Hollywood Reporter anywhere I go. Plus now I have access to many extra features which I did not have before. This is great!
The free news section is a great way to stay on top of whats going on.
Works well. Stable on my iPad Air. UI is minimal and intuitive. Content is great.
Love the look and feel of this app. I have experienced the difficulties some of you have. Works perfectly here. Love the perk of getting my digital content for free for being a print subscriber.
I love THR, but the new app keeps logging me out making me re login in order to view the issues Ive subscribed to read.

Some bad moments

I agree with everything that Uday Chopra say: "Im giving this 1 star not cause this is a bad app. Infact it can be a great app but for some reason I cant seem to download the purchased issue. The app quits every single time I try to download. I have even rebooted my ipad but to no avail."
Has a tendency to crash/lock up during downloads, and there is no way to resume the download without uninstalling the app, which seems kind of crazy
Definitely my fave magazine but this new app bites. Every page must be enlarged to read so your messing with pages the entire time. Its impossible to relax and just read. When you go back later to pick up where you left off, the app always resets itself to the beginning and you have to search for the last page you were on. I liked the daily report this magazine had in the old app but thats gone now. Why mess with a good thing. Order the actual magazine instead and get it in the mail. Or hopefully they fix this.
Seems improved however I occasionally am asked to pay for an issue when Im a subscriber!
This app doesnt work very well. I havent been able to access any weekly issue since June 7, 2013. The customer service/technical support is very slow. I dont get return phone calls and the solutions they email me dont work. When I email them, they take several days to respond.
I have a subscription and yet the issues show up in my library 4 days after they are in the store- I could pay for the issue, but not get it as part of my sub- emailed support at the Hollywood reporter and they blame apple - apple blames Hollywood reporter - dont subscribe until this is worked out
